Good Morning -
I am a new 1965 CL77 305 Scrambler owner. The motorcycle was purchased on Ebay two weeks ago and Daily Direct Transport is delivering the bike, here to Michigan, later this week.
Since they say "No Question is a Dumb Question," :?: I need to ask the veteran members of this forum - What oil should I use and how much does it take for an oil change?
The engine has been rebuilt and I want to start off on the right foot. I have purchased two manuals, off of Ebay and they too are enroute to my home, but I have no reference yet and I wanted to check with folks who know Hondas.
Thank you! I am going to have other questions and I am really happy to have found you guys!

Oil Question
The oil issue is brought up often. Some people argue to use a good quality motorcycle oil and others say to use Non-detergent strait 30W oil from NAPA since this oil was designed for engines built in the early sixties and detergent oils are designed to carry dirt to a actual filter.Your choice.I did start using the NAPA 30W non-detergent myself with no problems. You need about 1.5 or so quarts to do a change.Check level without screwing dip stick in.Hope this helps?
