Right side engine cover interchangeability ?

I am wondering if anyone here has used either a dream right side engine cover or a CL 77 cover on a CB 77 ? I am close to finishing my 66 CB 77 cafe racer and neither of my right side engine covers is very good ( although sort of functional). Looks to me like a CL side cover would work fine if the footpeg clearance issue is addressed. Any thoughts ?

Not sure about how the CL would fit but, the back of the Dream right cover goes back quite a bit further at the bottom where the chain guard attaches. I don't what clearance issues that might create. IIUC the bolt pattern is the same on the covers except regarding the chain guards.

The cl 77 one will work is the footpeg clearence is addressed.
