cl72 type2 engine

Post by jesse » Thu Mar 04, 2004 4:38 pm

i have been working on my 68? cl72 for about a year.during this time i have found a few odd features on it.first the engine has the 360 degree crank, single points and a serial number 150xxxxx.the engine number is within 14 digits of the frame so i assume it is original.i have been told that the bike probably was brought back by a GI from overseas.does anyone know how many of these type 2 cl72 hondas were made and why the high serial number?<br />thanks
