Post by jcensky » Mon May 09, 2005 4:54 pm

Does anyone have a source for the old style M5 X .90 pitch screws for the points cover and dynamo cover on my CL77?

Also, are there allen head screw kits available for the left and right crankcase covers?

Please HELP!!

Thanks, JOHN

JC, I just tapped my points cover holes to 10/32 thread, not acurate restoration but if you want allen screws for the crankcase covers I'm thinking your not to worried about that either. The allen screws are available on e-bay by the manys! Cheap too!that is where I got mine, sure beats 40 year old phillips heads. Best luck! Steve Greer

These screws are also used on the CB450, and CB350 and are available from Honda. They might have to be adjusted for length.
