Conrod CB77E

Post by Kuno » Tue Dec 28, 2004 7:48 am

Examine the top end of the connecting rod on my CB77E, 1964.

The conrod top end seams to be steel towards steel (piston bolt - conrod) without any kind of e.g bronze bearing.

Is that a standard conrod rod , a bad construction, restriction from high rpm. etc.

Regards /Kuno
That sounds like a stock rod. As far as RPM the stock redline is like 9000rpm they will hold up to higher RPM w/ the right parts.

georGe
