Recently rebuilt Dream 305. Put new pistons, rings, and valves (not guides). Runs nicely, little smoke on right cylinder, noticed small oil spatter near the head bolt (not one of 8 on top of head) that is next to the spark plug. Any thoughts?

Check the bolts and/or gasket on the cam cover on that side. Mine had a similar leak when I bought it and the bolts were loose.

If you still have the leak, there is a small (4 to 5MM) casting plug forward of the spark plug. Check it for the leak.
