I am assembling a cl72/77 from a basket case. There is a part which I have not been able to identify using either the parts diagrams or manual.

Looks to me like one of the locator lugs/pins from several places around the engine.

Others opinions?

I agree it looks like a locater pin with a o-ring or something around it.

Hard to tell size from the picture. Is that an o-ring or metal disc around it. Is it a wheel bearing spacer?

Looks like the 11x18 cylinder head knock pin with the flattened 11x2 O-Ring around it. Parts 20 and 22 on the diagram. It's important to get those two pins back in where they belong. Oil flows to the head thru those.

That's correct. A little embarrassing that I couldn't figure it out. The o-rings were petrified and stuck solid on the dowels. I thought they were one piece. I guess I need better lighting in the garage and a younger set of eyeballs.

Here's another one:

Two small square rubber blocks, small enough to fit completely on top of a penny. One side is marked "UP". I seem to remember seeing a similar part holding in a cam tensioning wheel axle in a Z1 a few years ago, so it may no even be from a 305.

I am finding a few odds and ends from other bikes in this basket case, which make it a little challenging. I can build Triumph and Suzuki GS motors from parts jumbles, but this is my first 305 so I am having a difficult time.
