The pics help the only thing I did different than you was I put the pressure device on both pistons at the same time and used wood blocks at eight different locations. Since both rods are attached to the crank in the same place you cant move one piston much without getting a lot of resistance from the other one.
I have not had a sleve out of one of these motors but is looks as thought you can push it back down and it will not go through the cylinder. Also when you get a good amount of pressure on the top of both pistons it should just take a gentle tap to get them to slide down a mm at a time, if you have to tap them at all.
Let me know how it goes.
Pistons 1/2 way out-Sleeve moved! OUT!

re:
I prefer a heat gun. Its like a super hair dryer, but gets things hot enough you can just about solder with it. (have used it to melt the cores in jacketed bullets when I was making them) There's no flame, and you can heat a large area than with a torch. Usually hardware stores have them. I think I paid $25.00 for mine, but thats been a longtime ago. Very useful and worth looking into.

Plastic roller
RC, the roller looks like its starting to"Chunk", hard telling by the picture. I would replace it, they're available. It might be an allusion but the left piston looks slightly cocked in the bore, maybe some judicious light tapping is in order?........................D

Ya, the roller is out now and the 2 outside piston pin clips.
I'm gonna try and make a puller to get the pins out and then hopefully/finally get the cyl/pistons off so I can take em to work and press em out w/ a big F'n press.
The one cylinder is definately cockeyed in the bore and w/ all my heating/pressing and heating it hasn't budged...
See pic's...

Pounded out the piston pins and took the head off.
Cracked a piece out of the bottom skirt on 1 of the pistons, still stuck.
Gonna try a different kind of press.
Does the crank only turn 1 way???
Anybody know what that black tapered hex topped hollow thing is at the bottom right of 1st pic?
Roller look OK?
