Is a CB160 Enough Bike?

I love my 90. That thing will just go and go and go and go. It's a lot faster than people think too, at least with my 140lbs on it. I can even drive my girlfriend around on it. It's perfect for San Francisco. You can get anywhere in the city and split any lane of stalled traffic. Climbs hills just fine...well, except going up clipper, only doing about 25 up that.

Anyways, I REALLY don't want a super heavy bike. I like the 60s styling of the CB77 a LOT. The early cb350s are cool too, like the 1969 and 1970 models. I really don't mind paying a lot of money for something beautiful and awesome.

It's funny people talk about bikes not being comfortable at certain speeds. I take my 90 up to 60mph and, if it weren't for the notorious San Francisco wind, I'd be fine. But the speed itself doesn't cause the bike to handle poorly or wobble or whatever. It's smooth. I imagine a 160 would be just as smooth, I guess I want a 305 cause it's similar in size to the 160 and 90 (good for city riding) but big enough to take a long trip reliably, if I wanted.

I have a S90 too, and love it! Not as practical in Marin as in it in SF. Nice and narrow for splitting lanes. Do you park the S90 by City Hall? i've had 3 or 4 people e-mail pictures of it parked out there, because they know what an old Honda nut I am.

That's mine! Hahahaha, yup. Lots of attention from that thing, mostly from older dudes instead of from ladies like I had hoped, but oh well. hahaha.

I'm 5'6" and 150 if the beer has been good to me, 140 if the gym has been.

the 305 is very agile and light.
my daily rider is a 96 vulcan 800cc.
I manage it just fine. i wear cowboy boots for the extra heel length so i have a bit more leverage when backing the vulcan, and a bit more height for superhawks and 160's that sit a bit higher but are lighter.
either way the 305 will be fine for you. I highly recommend it. taking a 160 on the free way is certainly doable, but not ideal.
