CB350 K4 Side Reflector - Thread size ?

I have a CB350 K4 brought into the UK from the USA and missing its front side reflectors ( that seem to screw into the fork shrouds ).
As these aren't a requirement here I was thinking of mounting a pair of LED daytime running lights but the threads in the fork shrouds don't seem to be the M6x 1.0 that I expected.
If anyone has one of the original reflectors could they measure the thread size please ?

Is the thread larger or smaller than a 6mm?. ..........lm

Hi LM

I tried a 5mm bolt and that is too small but a 6mm x 1.0 won't start: looking at it with a torch the thread pitch looks bigger than 1.0mm but I can't get a thread gauge in there.

Get a M8x1.25 bolt and grind the end to leave a small length of triangular of thread, that will fit in and use that as a thread gauge.
Hope this makes sense I'm not very good at explaining things.

Let's not make this more complicated than it is. Those are standard M6x1 threads full of threadlocker so the reflectors don't back out. They're $27.45 each new from Honda!
