Itching to start my CL350 project

Post by Jethro » Mon Jan 31, 2011 12:17 am

Hi. I have a '73 CL350 that I'm really itching to get going on. But I have a '63 CA77 that I'm in the process of putting back together. So I just need to wait and take one thing at a time here. The one thing I need to take care of on this 350 before I run it again is the infamous cam chain/tensioner/roller/slipper issue that plagues the 350's. Anyone have any good experiences with better alternatives to these components? I have some other things in mind for the 350 too, but they're mostly cosmetic. Here's a pic:)

Here's another pic. I took these last summer right after I did the painting and the seat. Shortly after these were taken I put new tires on it and found a right side mirror.
