1972 Re-Build for any CB750 FansTango,
There"s a bunch a wires in them 750 headlites aint they? I got my paint kit and stripes from www.vintagehondapaint.com. I believe that is the best deal on paint and service out there. The kit came with primer, thinner , base coat , clear coat, paint sticks, strainers, tack rag, very detailed instructions , and even a solvent for cleaning your gun. The whole deal delivered was $183.95 for paint kit, stripes, and freight. If you haven't already, check out his site. He's got all of the color matched candy and flake colors for the late 60's and 70's Hondas. He also sells a HF HVLP gun for around $35. I bought 5 or 6 of them from HF on sale for $12 a couple of years ago to use here at the fab shop. They work excellent and are pretty much indestructable. Mark
Great project bike! Looks fantastic.
I couldn't resist throwing the only remaining pic of my 1975 750. Pic was taken around 1976/7-ish. Yes, that is me minus a few lbs. and with more hair. I'm convinced decades of helmet wearing stole my brown curly locks. Note: Harley Sportster bags. Had custom brackets made at the local HS by the machine shop class. Bike had over 75k miles and towed a Time-Out trailer (one of the first in the US) for 2000 miles through the mid-Atlantic (that was my honeymoon with my ex). I went on to buy a 1978 750 when the '75 was stolen. I'll get another one some day. Dana
