MW F1 Euro GP crash

Post by e3steve » Mon Jun 28, 2010 5:32 am

Lucky man!

Talk about 9-lives!! Just shows how the sport's safety has improved by the inclusion of the 'survival cell' in the cars' designs, thanks to the FIA and Bernie Ecclestone, since Ayrton Senna's demise in '94.

Yeah Steve, I watched that race, and man I guess RED BULL does give you wings! Seriously though, it was really great to see Mark walk away from that horrible crash. I think the 107% rule needs to be activated sooner rather than later.

Been too long coming, too! Full agreement on that, Dave.

Here's another perspective; I don't know if it's anger or relief with which Mark launches the aero-cowling. And watch the manic pit-stops going on whilst the Safety Car's deployed.

Yes, I saw him launch the $10,000 + steering wheel, and the safety cowl, seemed a bit miffed to me!

Well fellow F1 fans, Mr Webber seems to have had a much more enjoyable drive than he did 2 weeks ago!

Good result.....considering he was sulking about SV's front wing upgrade!
