I like them between 1978 to 1988. Those which were build in low numbers. Like less than 1000.
But I like the early CB 72 77 and CA 77 the best.

I'm not a collector, but my main ride is a 1985 V65 Sabre. I like vintage stuff. The older bikes have mojo that modern bikes lack. The Sabre/Magna club BBS is very active, and nearly everyone uses his V4 as a daily driver.
On the other hand, technology improvements of modern bikes, especially the stiff, light aluminum frames make them out-handle the old war horses like an F16 over an F4.
I'm in the process of buying a 1982 guitar also.
