Float Bowl Gaskets. I got mine at SCI. Here's their part number: K-549 (I think I got two in the package...). www.siriusconinc.com about $9.00 plus S/H. I bought other stuff as well so I could not tell you what the S/H would be for just a gasket.

Rounded edges. Fit perfectly.

Davo

My CB77 is a 1964. The bowls look square but where the gasket sits is curved rather than straight.
Also the corners are round. Is this called square bowl or round bowl?
Photo attached, please ignore Loctite aviation gasket cement, which will be cleaned off later.

I have bought stuff from Sirius before but didn't spot the gaskets. Thank for the heads up, will browse later. Are your bowls the same shape as mine?

Cheers, guys.

Yup, the gaskets I received should fit your carb. They look the same to me. Indeed, round bowl style.

I just stumbled on this thread and wanted to update it with a little information. As the importer we did our best to work with the factory to sort out these issues years ago when they were first discovered. They are not interested in updating the parts to be correct. Our customers were told the item would not longer be imported, but they complained and wanted to keep on selling them as they felt the parts were still useful. We agreed, in hindsight that probably was a mistake. I am sorry for any problems this item has caused. Anyway we're not trying to hide anything here. We have been sharing this information with everyone who orders these since we found out years back. Please see photos attached.

Dubco kits

Thanks for the information, I was just about to buy two. Any body know why I can't get my 305 carbs to run with the proper mixture? I have tried anything I can think of. The cl77 305 starts without a choke and the choke has no effect while the engine is running. Black scoot all over the exhaust. I have set the floats, the jets the float valve. Had the carbs off 20 times. Many thanks, CFL Mission Viejo, CA
