Is there another version?
There is a page in one of the books of a dream with a solo seat and a similar looking rack mounted on the fender behind it, and that is what I would like to do with mine.
Sorry it took me awhile to respond. The guide I have that came on cd has a 1961 accessory book for the "American Honda Motor Company Inc." . There are four different racks in these pages for the 305 Dream. Thare is one in the Buco cataolgue as well. Cheers, Jeff H.
Thanks for the info Eljeef, I got the paper versions, so I'll look for the accessory book elsewhere.

i totally agree brewsky, the stock dream seat really is bad on me too.
i almost bought one of the solo seats off ebay but for some reason it just doesnt look good to me.

Thanks for the link, Joe.

Looks good behind the stock seat, but probably wouldn't with a solo which I'm thinking about using.

I like the look of the solo and pressed metal rack in place of the rear pillion.

Gentlemen, the Honda CT200s used a similar looking rack, cheap enough to buy, and possibly modify to fit?

Hey,
Here is a comparison overlay of the CT200 rack.
It would not be easy to make it fit, with enough work, any is possible.
Check out the pics.
