Hi,
I have never seen an original Dream toolkit.
Does this look right?
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ORIGINAL-HONDA-D ... 240%3A1318

Does it look like it is all there?

cheers,
Greg

Greggie, I'd say the spark plug tubular wrench, at least, is missing. Oh, and the pliers. Other than that, it looks pretty all-there. The fiche shows 13 tools, plus the roll. I see 12 in that roll.

thanks Steve,

the listing quotes 10 pieces so I guess there are at least 3 missing pieces.

I will put a small bet on, and look for the missing tools later.

Greggie, I won't place a figure on what I think it's worth in open forum; you bid and try to make it yours.

What I see is:
  • Axle spanner x 1
    Open-end spanners x 3
    Tappet spanner x 1, hiding (I think!)
    9mm single o-e spanner x 1 (don't think that should be there)
    Feeler gauge x 1
    Points file x 1
    Screwdriver handle x 1
    T-handle x 1
    Screwdriver blades x 2
Makes deffo 11, perhaps 12. I think he's counted the assembled screwdriver as a 'one'. I don't believe that 9mm single o-e spanner should be there, and there also seems to be 1 x screwdriver blade missing. Bear in mind that what is shown on the fiche could have changed from year to year.

I won my complete NOS CB kit for US$263 (AU$407); I missed several prior to winning that one, and they all made over 300US (465AU). One even reached 420US (650AU)!!

If you win it, I have a spare (used) pair of pliers that I'll send you. I don't want anything for them -- just tell your PM, Kevin Rudd, that my great, great grandfather was innocent!

I won the auction but she sent me this...

I have sent it back to the seller, it really was not what was described.
It was an old SAE spanner set with a couple of other odd spanners in it.

The hunt continues...

Thanks for the advice

Greg
