Header -Muffler O-Ring ?

Post by Phil-UK » Fri May 30, 2008 4:44 am

Hi

Does anyone know the part number for the O-ring seal that goes into the silencer/muffler and makes the exhaust pipe/header gas tight ?
I have fitted a pair of replica silencers and made temporary seals up using exhaust packing wrapped around an ordinary O-ring but it isn't going to last.
All the parts lists I can find only show the rubber "boot" ( 2 diameters and looks like it fits well into
the silencer ) .. the silencer just seems to have a "groove" expecting a simple O-ring.

thanks in advance

Phil

Sorry .. brain not entirely in gear ..
CB72 with David Silver replica standard silencers.
I have emailed Silver's asking for a part number and availability but the reply just said
"not available".

Phil, I just bought 4 from this guy. Price is right, and he ships worldwide.
