Australian C78 Restoration - something a little different

Ok, finally gettting around to my C78 that's been waiting a long time...... Not the best condition bike I've got sitting around (6 Dreams here) , but I have chosen her for various reasons.... Anyways, I dropped the engine off at my friendly rebuilder today (who used to work on these things back in the 60's), and he'll sort that part out, I get to do the rest ;)
Anyways, this bike will be a regular rider - club runs & to/from work once/twice a week, so I need it to be reliable & also keep up with modern traffic, and as low-maintenance as possible To this end, I'm doing the following:
Bored to 338cc, Bigger inlet valves from a CB77, Camshaft from a CL77, carb is a NOS CB77 L side unit. Should hopefully get up & move a bit quicker ;)
Electronic ignition, care of Bill Silver. Stainless mufflers, replicated by a guy down here in Victoria that sells 'em to Bill ;)
LED lighting is also planned, to take some strain off the charging system, and to experiment a little, I'm thinking of powder-coating the whole bike, rather than painting...... this will be durable, chaep & easy, and the newer low-nylon content powder-coatings are very glossy, like paint.... Anyway, still thinking about that one....
Pics to follow ;)
