@jugger18 I shoot chrome powder regularly and it has its place, and can look awesome but it is NOT the same thing as chrome plating. I regularly discourage my customers from trying to substitute chrome powder for actual chrome in most instances. Regarding the vapor blaster, it is a Vapor Blast brand cabinet that I got at an auction and modified. Even used they are $$, new I think the one I have retails for about $18k which I find astounding. Regardless, it does a great job cleaning up aluminum. I run industrial aluminum friendly detergent and medium grade glass bead. If you need some parts done I can probably hook you up. Its not very expensive.
It would be a good idea to get them zinc plated as that shine won't last long on steel......
