Need help on this. I beleive the packing is not correct and causing the gap. What do you think?

The horn must remain 'suspended' and relies on the rubber 'cushion' washer to keep it from touching the bucket. That said.........the rubber grommets on the two small bolts that hold it to the bucket may be slightly 'fat' preventing the horn from being snugged a little closer to the outer washer.
BTW........nice work. I'm guessing you put clear over the 'shinny' silver on the case-cover to get the good looking final finish.

Yes moisture can enter but it can also get out.
See the hole with the rubber ring where the wires enter?
The HORN actually sort of swings.

LM, thanks for the reply. It just looks like water or dirt could enter through the gap so I just wanted to be sure.
