Yes we are lucky to be a small FREE country with friends close but one thing I do not understand is how do you find the time to do gardening, work, bike restoration.

Thanks, Steve. Brewsky is correct in that the bike in the background is a Yamaha V-Star 1300 (Midnight Star in the UK). In my humble opinion, it looks and sounds nothing like a HD, but that's just me.

I'm missing being in the workshop but a combination of work and travel which are expected and the unexpected granting of a large new 'allotment' garden (just a rented piece of parish council land for vegetable garndening has kept me away from teh worksop. The garden had run wild so there was a lot of work to do. Plus, my wife wanted a new greenhouse to grow her tomatoes so I have built that and set up a water collection system.

Not exactly 305-related but presented as my excuse for lack of progress.... :-)

As if you needed an excuse…. The pics are beautiful; the view, to me, is quintessentially English. Great work on that garden! You've certainly given it the kind of attention we've seen you give your motorcycles.

Almost the entire day prepping for these two little bolts. Both are mounted now, but what a chore getting them clean enough to plate. I've just ordered an ultrasonic cleaner to help in the future. I still have to buy the cleaning/degreasing solution and I'd like to hear what others are using.

Great work with lots of patience. These are the guys I get my ultrasonic cleaning stuff from. I realise that it's not much help to my N-A friends but it might give you some clues. I use their carb and machine part clening solution. I get it 1 gallon at a time now. It's expensive but does the job.
