1964 CA77 Restoration
Back on track. Benly rear winker lenses seem to work. They're cheap repros from Thailand and not extremely well made, but with a little filing to remove the casting waste, they fit pretty well. I need to make gaskets, find screws and mount a bulb socket. I think I'll use LED bulbs. Wires with the proper colors are in hand.

Just tinkering lately. I've stripped the covering from the wiring harness to make changes in the wiring to accommodate a new rectifier/regulator. It's all back together now, but I need to find multi-pin connectors. I've exhausted the local auto parts stores, so it looks as if I'll have to order on-line. And wait. Again.
Since I'm fiddling with the electrical system, I decided to mount the rectifier/regulator using the old rectifier bracket. I had to fabricate an inner bracket from aluminum flat stock to do it. It came out o.k. and does not interfere with the side cover. I could have just drilled a hole in the frame, but, first, I didn't want to do that and second, I like that the old bracket retains the air filter bolt and provides a place to tuck away wires from the solenoid and coil.
More as it happens.
I think I'm going to start a thread for the Superhawk to keep track of changes.

Seadog
Nice work. Good to see the fins placed vertically to maximize convection.
