Thanks e3steve for the information on my bike I really appreciate it. I was wondering why my seat didn't have the strap across for the passenger and I wish it had turn signsls but what can you do.

Re: mid bars
Fitting turn signals / winkers / trafficators / indicators (delete as appropriate, depending on your country of origin!) isn't difficult to do, as there's an abundance of types on the market.Merz64cb77 wrote:.... and I wish it had turn signsls but what can you do.
Mine came with them (badly) fitted, but I've improved upon their mounting method and switching. If you want to fit them, then I'm happy to help and trawl for my past posts regarding how-to, then start another thread in Electrical - Wiring.

Thanks, Steve.e3steve wrote:Yep. I'd say so. As always, though, I'm ready to be corrected...Seadog wrote:Are these Type II?
Merz64CB77, adding turn signals is really not much of a chore. If you want authentic period signals, they are a bit pricey, but can be found on eBay. However, Kijima makes modern replacements that look pretty good and can be purchased for about $22 (U.S.) per pair. The most difficult and expensive part to find would be an authentic switch, but alternatives are cheap. I've done it both ways and found that the authentic switch was awkward to use. If you want to add turn signals, I'd be happy to help. Just start a new thread in the electrical section.
