I dunno, Tom. I think it's the later one. Here's what I believe is the early one. I could very well be wrong and if I am, I'm sure someone will chime in.Hoosier Tom wrote:That looks like an early tool tray which won't fit his later Dream battery if he truly has a 1967. There were two different tool trays used depending when the bike was issued. The change occurred at serial (VIN or frame) number CA77-1010863 which I believe was in 1965. Stating the year of your bike when requesting parts can be rather ambiguous in certain cases as these bikes were titled in the year they were sold and can easily be a year off. My eyes may be fooling me but it looks like an early tray to me.

When you're right, you're right. I just measured. Your eyes have not failed you. This won't work for Eric.Hoosier Tom wrote:In case my eyes have failed me just make sure it will fit the deeper, later battery which is roughly 3" deep. The early battery is 2 & 9/16" deep.
