Dear all,
I have been riding my 1964 CB77 fairly regularly this summer. The traffic is not so bad here in Scotland but in town it is fairly busy. I have decided to fit Winkers to make it a bit safer when surrounded by careless car drivers. I have bought a period set from David Siver spares which look pretty good. They have a rather ugly handle bar mounted selector switch.
There was a very nice restored CB77 featured in Classic Bike this month and it had Winkers fitted. I noticed that it had a winker switch integrated with the starter button switch on the right handlebar grip. It is a much neater solution than a separate switch.
Do any of the forum members know the part number of this integrated switch assembly?
Thanks.

CMSNL has it listed as part number 35250-268-820 from bike serial number 401561. Of course they're not in stock. They're pretty unobtainable. I've been looking for one for my '64 and for my '64 Dream for ages. I did see my one on eBay many months ago, but it was too costly for me. I ended up using a separate handlebar mounted switch. Good luck.

Re: Fitting Winkers to CB77
It is Dennis Murfin's bike I think he modified a switch he found, I can ask him for the full details if you are interested.mcconnellfrance wrote: There was a very nice restored CB77 featured in Classic Bike this month and it had Winkers fitted. Dennis' winker switch is a modified SL90 kill switch. Still available on eBay.
It needs modifying from two to 3 position, I think.

It would be most helpful to understand what solution Dennis Murfin came up with for the switch. Always willing to learn from the good ideas of others!
Thanks for your offer of help.

The SL90 switch isn't a bad choice - the kill switch has off/on/off positions. Unfortunately, it also has the headlight hi/low switch. A 1978ish left Honda Goldwing switch has everything needed and looks period, but it also has a lot of wires that would be exposed. I don't think they could all be hidden.
