Any advice as I begin / attempt to rewire my CL77
I have the orignal harness looks good but I also purchased what was sold as a
new harness for this bike but it does not seem to have all the same wires ??
Anyway just thpught I would post a note to see if anyone has input

Do you have an ohmmeter? You really need on ohmmeter/voltmeter to test either continuity (ohms) or 12 volts/ground (voltage).
Take your time and test each wire or circuit (for voltage, ground, or continuity) before and after replacement.
REMOVE the fuse or disconnect battery wires when replacing any wires!!!!
Check the color coding of the new wire harness with your schematic diagram. The 40+ year old wires may be a different color because of an old repair with the wrong color wire.
