!2 volt or 6 volt

Post by Paul Buck » Sun Jan 20, 2008 7:21 pm

I know this forum is for 305, but I ready to tear my hair out. I picked up a Honda ca160. I'm geting no where on net, or from my local Honda shop.
Bike needs a battery, head light, tail light, speedo light read 6 volt. Internet says 12 volt. Honda shop says 12 volt. Any one knows what up? Frame # is CA160-1011694. Honda shop couldn't even tell me the year. Need year and battery # for this Honda 160.
Much Thanks. Paul,

Paul, click the link for part #. This is a great site for online microfische. I know that the CA150 was a 6 volt, and I assume the CA160 is as well. Maybe this part # will help you get the right battery.

hey there. i have a ca160 and i am pretty sure the battery is a 6v. i had a ca95 and it was 6v. i bought a 12v by mistake and when i tried to put it in realized that it was a 12v. it did not fit. the 6 fits just fine.
