Kick start without battery?

Post by 3030vision » Sat Oct 09, 2004 5:25 am

I just bought my first CB77, so please bear with me here...

I've done some serious cleaning of the gas tank and pet cock. I'm anxious to try to get the bike started before i get the battery. Is there any reason i shouldn't be able to kick start the bike without a battery connected? Anything else i should know about running sans battery?

Thanks!
