Which direction do the battery post face, and where does the negative battery strap terminate on the frame?

Ground wire connects to the top rear left hand engine mount bolt (nut side). It runs between the engine and engine mount bracket up the left side of the battery box. I have a couple of good pictures showing the routing. If you wan them send me a PM with your e-mail.
