Post by 1941wld » Sun Oct 29, 2017 11:33 am

Any body out there have the sizes or part numbers on the o-rings used inside the CB77 electric starters?

I don't damage the inspection one.
HONDA didn't offer it as a replaceable part.
I add paper tape to the inside of the cover.
Same for the really thin paper seal.
I use a thin rubber band there. .............lm

o-rings

Post by 1941wld » Mon Oct 30, 2017 8:42 am

I've ordered a 60mm x 1mm o-ring for the planetary gear housing. It should squeeze down nicely. I'm going to measure the brush access port and find a new one that will work for it. I'll post my finding when finished.
