Overall, I'm pleased with Charlie's reply and explanation. How I add and delete wires is undecided. I tend to be obsessive about this stuff and just might modify the wiring harness, since it's on my workbench right now. If I do, I'll add a fuse to the power side. I'll have to decide how to mount the device too. Gotta be neat about it.
