ignition switch

last item to fix on a 2 year restoration project. ('67 CL 77) when bench testing my ignition switch ( with the switch in the 2nd position) which poles should have continuity with the red ? Right now after repairing 2 switches only the black has continuity with the red. In the third position only the white. Which seems correct for the parking light . But doesn't the green need continuity or does the power for the green come from another source?
