Is this headlight and switch install possible?
Hello everyone. This is my first time posting here. I have had a 1966 cb77 for about 3 weeks now and iv disassembled it and started by cleaning and repainting the frame. Iv rebuilt or refinished everything including nuts and bolts. I'm at the last part I believe. My headlight situation. I am making a cafe racer so wanted to delete the gauges. So I have a new headlight bucket for just a headlight. I plan to incorporate the on off light switch into the headlight bucket. Now my questions are first I would like to use a h4 bulb. So I need a non sealed beam headlight for an h4 bulb. I already have a new h4 wire harness. Will this splice in no problem? Next thing is I do not want a high low switch. Is it possible to bypass the high low switch and just turn the headlight on and off? Thanks for any help

Just put a toggle switch in a hole, drilled in the headlight shell, to turn it on or off. You might consider using a three terminal double throw switch(off in the center, high beam one way and low beam the other), most jurisdictions require high and low beam to legally register a motorcycle.
