To Jensen and Snakeoil, thankyou, for your comments. Yes it is brand new and I may have slightly misled you here, but I did state it was off a C90 /C50 which is the cub, therefore it is a flywheel magneto, probably 6 volts and hence the 2 separate coils, one for lights and one for the ignition.
I am merely trying to understand the mysteries of some of the bikes electrics.
