Brake pedal light switch -need help

I read that post and tried getting it to work again. My horn is different from the one in the post,but used the same principles.

I got it to screech like a tortured squirrel, but no beeps.

Finally got the plates ins. etc. Put on about 15 mi. so far and it runs great! First time on the road since 1978.
