Looks pretty good for $60 bucks. Not for a show quality resto, but a good safety upgrade for a daily rider. Positioning the switch for ease of use probably would not be all that great however.

My CB had a similar switch for the fitted sftermarket winkers when I bought it. I re-fitted them, replacing the headlamp bolts with the front pair (instead of the silly clamps on the handlebar). A throttle grip/right switch assy, NOS, for a CP on eBay ($160 from Japan!) completed the picture. I was lucky to get that, but bloody expensive.

You CL guys wouldn't need the starter button, so you could either use the lower half of the assy from your existing throttle cave or you could, with a relay, wire in a headlamp flasher button.

These r/h winker switch assys are pretty few & far-between though. You have to watch eBay on a daily basis.

That first set looks pretty good and functional, dogs. Let me know if you need help picking up wiring connections in the headlamp to make a nice job, rather than a 'tape & promise' job as mine were!

Anyone ever try a ca/cd 175 switch for turn signals they are about $40.00 on ebay . They might be a little larger, but look period I think

Hey Kirk, I looked at many options -- or, rather, non-options -- but didn't consider that model. Got a link? I'll check it out for the forum, as I've already worn, washed & ironed the T-shirt!

The C/CA77 is a no-go; completely different throttle cave.

Sorry, mate. Fatally flawed with that item, I'm afraid. That's a dimmer switch. It could probably be modified to work, but I reckon the throttle cave would be wrong for ours. The engraved legend would also still be wrong (L[ow]/H[igh]/P[ass]). Therefore the CD175 had the winker switch on the left side, it seems.
