CA77 rims

Post by dream1066 » Tue Jul 15, 2014 4:41 pm

I am a newbie in the process of restoring a 1965 Dream305. Im nearly finished but I need advice. I can either have my rims rechromed.(I was quoted $250-300)per rim. Or find some new rims. Does anyone have any sources for new rims? I have only seen ones from Apex which from what Ive read dont have the proper spoke angle or Ive seen some on ebay from a few vendors from Bangkok Thailand. Has anyone ever got these rims from Thailand? Are they exact replacements that will fit properly? What about the quality? How long do they take to get? I also need spokes. any suggestions? Any responses would be much appreciated.

davidsilverspares.com in England have a lot of rims for the old Hondas. I got some for my S90 and CB 175. You can search by model on their site. They are really good people to deal with. it is all one word....davidsilverspares.com good luck and welcome to the forum.
