Thats a good point Mike. The load rating on those moped tires is 467lbs at 41psi. So the total weight of me and the bike spread out on two wheels (about 250 lbs) should be ok, right? I hope so:P

Jeff,That's good to know.

That's better than the Firestones from Coker. If I remember correctly they only had a 200 lb. rating. I was very leery about riding the Dream when I had them on.

thanks to everyone for their input. we went ahead and ordered Kenda K671s and whitewall inserts. i will let you know how it all looks and when the bike is up and running again how it rides. i am a lightweight so dont think weight limit is gonna be a problem.

Post some pics and let us know what you think when you get them on.

I had Kenda 761 dual sports on my BMW and was well pleased.

The did look way too wide till they were mounted and inflated.

I assume you got 100/90's?

i will post pics, soon as i can figure out how to do that. thought about a pic of my poor bike in pieces getting ready to sand. lol. ice days in dallas have helped. and yes i did purchase 100/90-16 . seemed the boy on ebay wanted to sell me the chengs, even sent me an email. told him what i got the kendas for and he wanted to know the name of the website for his friend. too funny

Here's the photos I promised (just for future reference for those who are looking for tires).

Not bad considering the tires and whitewall inserts were less than $100
