Krylon Dull Aluminum seems to be the best match but it's not rated for high heat is it? Also questioning this because i don't know if i need to use high heat primer as well on these parts?

What about on the engine cases them selves? Also, do you need to use a self etching primer on covers and/ or engine cases?

You might want to make sure any paint you use is petrol resistant.

Don't ask me how I know...
