I have 3 small (¼ litre) HVLP guns and keep them for specific paint types: primer, topcoat, lacquer. That way you don't need to remember the settings for each and there's less risk of contamination. Being small they are easy tho get into position to do frame etc.

It's very satisfying to do a nice paint job all on your own.
