What color where the lower fork legs on the Red frame CL77.Have seen them in Red,Silver,and polished aluminum.What came on a stock bike?

If they are steel lowers I believe they were red, the aluminum lowers (two bolts on bottom end of each lower leg) they were painted silver. The aluminum lowers are the later style. jwb
