Are you using sharp or round beads?. ............lm

I have been using the medium beads, but the parts come out pretty dull.

Do folks tend to bead blast the carbs, too? I tried it on one carb tonight, and its clean, but again, pretty dull. No shine.

I'm gonna have to try to find some fine beads to check out.

Not sure -- it's just the medium glass blasting media from Fleet Farm. I'll check the container tonight when I get home from work. So, there are glass beads and glass chunks, eh?

The bead media I'm using is medium glass bead type, and I bought it at Fleet Farm. It does not specify sharp or round.

I looked at the 4shorts posts, and I have to agree that he sure is one resourceful guy! Nice work!

My only issue is that some stuff looks a little over polished for me, just a humble opinion...

I love his paint work. I'd like to be able to work up to that level in my small shop.

Sharp will stick to your hands where round will slide. Round feels slick and will give a polished look where sharp gives a frosty look. .............lm
