c92 vin number

c92 vin number

I cant find frame number on a c92.It is a 1962 flat bar model and I was told that it should be under the toolbox on the l/h side any help would be appreciated.

It's been awhile, but as I recall, it is verticle (read from the ground up) and pretty low, below where the swingarm mounts.... Good luck, they can be tough to read. I've noticed that pressed steel bar (domestic bikes) have the year in the center of the number (C92-62-XXXXX)....

] It is a very fine stamping below the toolbox but unfortunetly it gets rubbed away by the movement of the chainguard. If you have the original engine the frame number is usually within a few numbers away
