C92 Frame Number

Post by Greggie-e » Sun Oct 12, 2008 11:56 pm

Hi,
I recently had my C92 blasted and painted, but now I cannot find the frame number?

I never did see it, assuming that it would make itself more obvious when the bike was cleaned up. But I am thinking that the painters have filled it in with paint.

Does anyone know where the chassis number is on a C92?
I have a manual with a photo of where the number is supposed to be, but the phto is so close you cannot actually tell what part of the bike it is. It looks like it is on the swingarm, but that does not make much sense as swing arms occasionally get replaced.

Any advice would be appreciated as the next step is to start stripping off my nice new paintjob...
cheers,
Greg
