I just found out that instead of buying a 1964 honda dream305, I purchased a benley CA95. I know it's not all about speed, but I was hoping for a larger engine than the 125cc and am a bit disappointed. Is there anything specifically cool about these bikes you guys know about? Im trying to decide whether to sell it and look for a dream or ride this one.
Thanks,
Seffery

Re: 1964 Honda Benley CA95
No need to feel bad, maybe this is an opportunity.
I would get the bike sorted and would then ride it as much as possible. You can always be looking for another bike, but you already have this one in your possession.
Any skill or technique you learn with this one will be applicable to all other bikes in your future.
I went through mopeds, then 305, then 550, then 1600 (briefly) and then 900. Each successive bike gained from my cumulative experience on the smaller bikes.

I agree. Use it as a learning opportunity. Maintain/restore this one to a standard you're happy with and use the skills you learn on the next one.
Thanks.
