I race a CB72 bored to 64mm. I am finishing the refresh and need to replace the head gasket. Last year I used a CB77 standard gasket, which was ok, but the edge of the piston just clips it Boretech in the states do a 66mm gasket, but that's about 150$ to get it to England.
Having gaskets made will be about £100 to set up the tooling as a minimum.
Any ideas on suitable alternatives? So far, my plan is to use a CB77 gasket again.
Oversize head gasket
Hi Charles
Have you talked to anyone about laser-cutting you a copper one? Apart from getting a drawing done and the cost of the copper it shouldn't be too expensive.

These guys could probably adjust the bore size of this part...
