Any interest in race seat replicas?

i just found this thread and was wondering if these seats ever got finished?

Well, I finally got some work out of my fiberglass guy. I'm assuming things will be progressing at a normal rate from now on. Anyway, on the same day I was going to call and ask for him to send the seat back to me so I can continue the fiberglass shop search, he called me up and told me he's started actually repairing the mold and working to get everything done. I don't know why it's taken so long other than that he's been taking advantage of the fact that I've known him for some time. I don't have a timeline yet but he has started on the darn thing which is a plus. I'm hoping we get this wrapped up before January is over.

Oh, and I apologize for the length of time between updates. My small business is on the upswing and I find that I don't have as much time to spend on the forums anymore. According to my fiberglass guy, he will ship out the first unit to me at the end of next week :-)

It will be the first pull from the new molds so I'm hoping everything comes out A-OK and I won't have to have him make any adjustments. Crossing my fingers that he doesn't delay the shipment.

For the few that wanted to jump in on the order, I will contact you after I have received a unit that I'm happy with.
