In honour of National Bike to Work Day, I did Bike to Breakfast Day today:
Bike to Breakfast Day by Vince Lupo, on Flickr
120 mile solo run this morning, weather was picture-perfect, traffic on the backroads was light.
Interestingly, someone at the restaurant mistook my bike for a BSA :)

Well - if you must fit BSA Goldstar mufflers to a Honda......... :-)

Makes sense -- but I can pretty much guarantee my BSA is a heck of a lot louder than everyone else's BSA. Think I'm going to have to start wearing earplugs :)G-Man wrote:Well - if you must fit BSA Goldstar mufflers to a Honda......... :-)

Nice thing about today's ride is that 99% of it was done on two-lane roads. There's a short highway near me (I-195) that goes from Baltimore-Washington Thurgood Marshall Airport to a town just outside Baltimore called Catonsville. I jump on it and ride to the end (Catonsville), then it's all two-lane roads from there. Actually, I do have to get on Route 40 for about 1/2 mile (which is three lanes each way), but then after that it's nothing but two-lane roads.
My dream would be to do a nice long road trip from here on nothing but two-lane roads, doing about 50-55mph top speed. Just meandering.
