I've reread the thread and can't find (or missed it) why you changed to a single carb head.
Are you running 180 or 360 crank?. ............lm

hi Ed
i switched motors, this motor is my running spare 305 with 350 pistons. the cb72 is a brandnew motor that wasn't finished, rebuilt over 10 years ago. i plan on crating it up and sending it to you to go through the whole motor and get it running for me.
i ll give you call later this week
